Last chance for Hanoi trip
THE 12th and final leg of the Maxis Team Golf Tour to be held at the Sutera Harbour Golf and Marina Resort on Aug 30 will be the last chance for participants to qualify for the grand finals.
The grand finals will be held at the King’s Island and Chi Linh Star golf clubs in Hanoi, Vietnam, from Oct 28 to 31.
The champion team and gross winner at Sutera Harbour will join 44 others at the grand finals.
Also at stake at Sutera Harbour is the BMW 5 Series, which is the ultimate prize for a hole-in-one at the Par 3 second hole of the Lakes Nine, as well as a full set of Nike gear worth RM11,500 on the designated Par 3 17th hole.
Meanwhile, Cham Eu Leng, Pang Zip Yeap and Ng Cheng Weng from Penang finished as the winners at the eighth leg of the Maxis Team Golf Tour at the Meru Valley Golf and Country Club recently.
They scored the 117 points and defeated Lim Eng Wah, Ooi Siew Seong and James Lee Hock Cheng by six points. Pakhruddin Abdul Majid also qualified for Hanoi when he won the gross category carding a 77.
